Keep reading to find out more.
Double-DIN Digital Media Receiver Source Features
The Sony XAV-V10BT features Sony’s Digital Clarity DSP-based AM/FM tuner with RDS information display to handle all your terrestrial radio needs. We can upgrade the radio with an SXV300 SiriusXM satellite radio tuner during the installation to provide you with genre-specific satellite radio programming.
The USB port on the front of the radio provides up to 1.5 amps of current to charge your smartphone quickly, and the system will play MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV or FLAC audio files and XviD, MPEG-4, MKV and WMV video files stored on a USB memory stick.
Of course, the built-in Bluetooth transceiver handles audio playback from compatible Bluetooth devices so you can enjoy music stored on your smartphone or a streaming audio service like Pandora, iHeartRadio, Tidal or Google Play Music while you drive. The 1/8-inch audio input on the front panel works with any portable audio device that has a headphone jack.
Audio Connectivity and Processing Features
The XAV-V10BT includes adjustable high- and low-pass crossovers that allow us to configure the system with an aftermarket subwoofer for impressive performance. Likewise, the 10-band graphic equalizer and Dynamic Soundstage Organizer let us fine-tune the system to deliver an amazingly realistic listening experience that sounds as though you’re in the front row at a concert.
Likewise, if you want more performance, we can use the preamp outputs to add high-power amplifiers to the system to bring a new set of speakers to life or add a subwoofer for amazing impact, warmth and clarity.
In most applications, we can add a steering wheel audio control interface so you can change sources, adjust the volume and select different stations or songs without taking your hands off the wheel or eyes off the road.
A backup camera is another great option to make parking and maneuvering your vehicle safer. The camera image is displayed automatically on the screen as soon as you put the transmission in reverse. You can also select the camera image from the radio menu if you want to check on a trailer.
